Shed the heaviness of winter and awaken into Spring!

Offerings

MARCH GROUP WORKSHOP- NYC

Restorative yoga is the yin to the yang. It is the quiet inward yoga to the active vinyasa yoga. It is the moon to the sun. Through long held resting poses we will learn how to release and bring conscious relaxation into our lives. We will hold poses in a reclined position with the use of props to support us. The room will be lit with LED candles with soft music in the background. We will go home relaxed and ready for a deep night's sleep and wake up refreshed and renewed for the rest of the week ahead.

Join me March 13th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Yoga Collective NYC, located at 135 W 29th St. #603 in Chelsea. All props and mats are provided at no extra charge. Purchase your advance ticket here for $35. Entry is $40 day of.

Observations

  • A MUST WATCH: Michael O'Neill's On Yoga- The Architecture of Peace. The book comes to life in this visually stunning documentary on how recovering from injury led fashion photographer Michael to meet yoga masters around the world. Streaming on Netflix. Watch Trailer.
  • I was re-reading my notes from my Rude Yoga skype Birthday Tarot reading I got in January. Mothering myself was the theme. I've been giving myself a big hug everyday since. Get your reading here.
  • I'm loving my Passion Planner! I started organizing my tasks from all of my businesses and life into a written planner instead of A. notes everywhere and B. digital task list. This is a game changer! This planner is inspiring, motivational, and helps you break down big goals into small achievable chunks. Get a glimpse of mine in my latest journal post and buy yours here.
  • Read about the benefits of controlled breathing (pranayama) from the NY Times. Breathe. Exhale. Repeat.

I offer the healing modalities that have worked for me and that I continue to practice; yoga, meditation, and pranayama breathwork. I guide my classes and hold space for clients to help them find self-love, move stagnant energy blocks, and quiet the chatter of the mind. This enables us to find confidence, inner strength, and self-love. From there we can live a life led from the heart, guided by the soul, and filled with joy!
