It's now the time of year when winter and spring begin their waltz, swapping who leads on the dance floor. One day its cold, the next is warm, then cold again. Will spring ever arrive?
Change is inevitable and if seen in the right light, can inspire. This winter has been an exceptionally tough one for many reasons. As spring gradually takes the lead, it's time to renew. Its time to let go of the hardened shells we've become to face the cold. It is time to let go of the things that no longer serve us. When we shed layers, we can renew. We can sprout and find new beginnings and fresh starts. We can create space to show up fully for our lives. We can take the lead on the dance floor.
Spring will arrive.
I'm happy to shed my layers, come out of hibernation, and share my spring line-up of classes and events! To kick off the season, I am facilitating my first Breathwork healing session on March 28th! I completed level 1 training with my healer, Erin Telford, last month, and I will be continuing my training this June in New Mexico with the originator, David Elliott.
Breathwork is an active meditation technique that enables us to let go and connect with our emotional selves. Through a rhythmic breath we discover blocks and move stagnant energy (grief, anger, anxiety, old thought patterns, etc.) without the thinking self getting in the way. This group session will leave you feeling a deeper connection with your innermost self. A great way to start the season of growth and new beginnings!
The week after Breathwork, we will join back in our Morning Glow practice for the next 6 Tuesdays. This is a Gentle Flow yoga class for all levels. Over the course of the series we will balance our chakras, reawaken our energy, and start our day radiant and light. Each class finishes with guided meditation.
Breathwork is the deep work. This is the maintenance.
